SAILOR 6350 MF/HF DSC Class A 500W
The all new SAILOR 6350 MF/HF DSC Class A – 500W improves on previous successful SAILOR GMDSS MF/HF systems in every way.
Operational communication
Designed to meet the demanding GMDSS requirements of professional mariners across a wide range of vessel types, the SAILOR 6350 MF/HF DSC Class A is a robust and high-performance communication system engineered for reliable operation in challenging maritime environments.
The radio complies with the latest ITU-R M.493-13 standard for MF/HF DSC Class A equipment, fulfilling the mandatory communication requirements for SOLAS vessels as well as numerous national regulations related to the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS).
Highly efficient
The SAILOR 6350 MF/HF DSC Class A is equipped with a highly efficient power amplifier and advanced control electronics, delivering outstanding performance across the marine frequency range of 1.6 to 30 MHz in transmission mode. The system maintains stable and full output power on all designated ITU channels, ensuring dependable communication under a wide variety of operating conditions.
Designed to support both safety-critical and routine operational communications, the radio incorporates an advanced cooling system that enhances its durability and long-term reliability. This robust engineering makes the SAILOR 6350 MF/HF DSC Class A a dependable and rugged communication solution for demanding maritime applications.
A clear view
The SAILOR 6350 MF/HF DSC Class A features an advanced 3.2-inch QVA display that provides excellent visibility in all lighting conditions. Users can choose between white text on a black background or black text on a white background to achieve optimal readability during daylight, while the integrated red backlighting helps preserve night vision during low-light operations.
The radio’s intuitive user interface is designed to minimize operator workload and simplify everyday use. A clear display, large tactile buttons, and ergonomic control knobs make menu navigation straightforward and efficient, enabling comfortable and reliable operation both day and night.
Play it again
SAILOR 6350 MF/HF DSC Class A is the first MF/HF to feature the pioneering SAILOR Replay function, which records the latest incoming messages, making them available for easy playback.
Clarify messages to improve vessel safety and operation by ensuring that messages are not lost, ignored or misunderstood, if the user was occupied in other operations.
Multimedia interface
The SAILOR 6350 MF/HF DSC Class A is operated through the SAILOR 6006 Message Terminal, the world’s first Wheelmarked GMDSS terminal featuring a touchscreen interface. The system also incorporates the latest generation of intuitive radiotelex software developed by Cobham SATCOM, enhancing both communication capabilities and ease of use.
Its modern, multimedia-inspired interface provides straightforward access to the radio’s communication and messaging functions. Designed with user convenience in mind, the terminal simplifies operation, reduces operator workload, and enables efficient management of essential communication tasks in demanding maritime environments.
Efficient communication
As a member of the SAILOR 6000 GMDSS Series, the SAILOR 6350 MF/HF DSC Class A incorporates ThraneLINK, an advanced networking platform designed to provide seamless communication and efficient integration between onboard systems.
Through a single point of access, service engineers can monitor and manage the vessel’s communication network, reducing maintenance requirements and lowering overall lifecycle costs. Additionally, the system automatically detects newly connected equipment, simplifying installation procedures and enabling faster and more efficient system configuration and expansion.
Further integration
The SAILOR 6350 MF/HF DSC Class A incorporates integrated monitoring of both the primary power supply and backup batteries, eliminating the need for separate battery supervision equipment. Furthermore, the system does not require an external GPS receiver, simplifying installation and reducing overall system complexity.
By removing the need for a dedicated battery panel within the GMDSS console, operators can save both time and installation costs. GPS data can be obtained directly from the SAILOR 6110 mini-C GMDSS via the existing ThraneLINK network connection, eliminating the need for additional cabling and enabling a cleaner, more efficient, and cost-effective system integration.
