Designed to satisfy GMDSS requirements for professional mariners across a broad range of vessel types, the SAILOR 6310 MF/HF is not only a regulatory communication solution but also a robust and high-performance system built for demanding maritime environments.
The equipment complies with the latest ITU-R M.493-13 standard for MF/HF DSC Class A operation, fulfilling mandatory communication requirements for SOLAS vessels as well as numerous national regulations governing the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS).

Equipped with a highly efficient power amplifier and advanced control electronics, the SAILOR 6310 MF/HF delivers outstanding performance across the marine frequency range of 1.6 to 30 MHz in transmission mode, providing stable and full output power on all designated ITU channels.

A clear view
The SAILOR 6310 MF/HF is equipped with an advanced 3.2-inch QVA display that provides excellent readability under all lighting conditions. Users can choose between white text on a black background or black text on a white background to achieve optimal visibility in daylight, while the integrated red backlighting helps preserve night vision during low-light operations.
Whether operating during the day or at night, the intuitive user interface reduces operator workload. The clear display, large tactile buttons, and ergonomic control knobs make navigating the menu system straightforward and efficient, allowing users to operate the equipment with confidence even in demanding situations.

The SAILOR 6310 MF/HF is the first MF/HF radio to incorporate the innovative SAILOR Replay feature, which automatically stores the most recent incoming communications and allows them to be replayed whenever required.
By enabling users to review previously received messages, the Replay function helps prevent important information from being missed, overlooked, or misunderstood when operators are occupied with other tasks. This capability enhances both onboard safety and operational efficiency by ensuring that critical communications can always be clarified and verified.
Multimedia interface
The SAILOR 6310 MF/HF is operated through the SAILOR 6006 Message Terminal, the world's first Wheelmarked GMDSS touch-screen terminal. The system also incorporates a new generation of intuitive radiotelex software, developed to simplify maritime communications and improve operational efficiency.
Featuring a modern, multimedia-inspired interface, the terminal provides a user-friendly environment that enables straightforward management of both communication and messaging functions. Its intuitive design reduces operator workload and allows users to access essential radio features quickly and efficiently.
Efficient communication
As a member of the SAILOR 6000 GMDSS Series, the SAILOR 6310 MF/HF incorporates ThraneLINK, an advanced networking platform designed to simplify communication and integration between onboard systems.
Through a single access point, service engineers can monitor and manage connected equipment across the vessel’s network, reducing maintenance requirements and lowering overall lifecycle costs. In addition, the system automatically detects newly connected devices, streamlining installation procedures and making system expansion faster and more efficient.
Further integration
The SAILOR 6310 MF/HF incorporates integrated monitoring of both the main power supply and backup batteries, eliminating the need for separate battery supervision equipment. In addition, the system does not require an external GPS receiver, simplifying installation and reducing system complexity.
By removing the need for a dedicated battery panel within the GMDSS console, operators can reduce both installation costs and maintenance requirements. GPS data can be obtained directly from the SAILOR 6110 mini-C GMDSS through the existing ThraneLINK network connection, eliminating the need for additional cabling and making system integration faster and more cost-effective.
