SAILOR 6301 MF/HF Control Unit
SAILOR 6301 CONTROL UNIT – Replacement Unit (SAILOR 6201 Handset Not Included)
The SAILOR 6301 Control Unit (Thrane TT-6301A) is a modular and flexible MF/HF DSC Class A control unit designed for workboats, fishing vessels, and merchant ships. It supports simplex and semi-duplex SSB radiotelephony across the maritime frequency range of 150 kHz to 30 MHz.
The unit provides voice communication, DSC functions including distress calling, position reporting, distress relay, channel watch, and AM broadcast reception. Four programmable soft keys allow quick and intuitive access to DSC operations.
A built-in voice replay function stores the last 240 seconds of received audio, helping reduce communication errors and allowing message review when the radio is unattended.
The large, easy-to-read display shows transmit and receive frequencies, MMSI number, position data, system status, signal strength, and transmission power. Adjustable backlighting with red text on a black background ensures excellent visibility while preserving night vision.
The SAILOR 6301 features an Ethernet interface for integration with external equipment for monitoring, control, and printing. It is available as a standard MF DSC unit and can be upgraded with HF DSC and Telex capabilities. Telex communication is supported through the SAILOR 6006 Message Terminal.
