Cabling innovation
The SAILOR 6110 mini-C GMDSS utilizes CAN-BUS (NMEA 2000) and RJ45 connectivity and is supplied with all necessary cables, including 30 metres of cabling, as standard. Designed for quick and straightforward installation, the system is ready for immediate deployment and can be expanded more easily and cost-effectively than solutions based on conventional cabling methods. This flexible architecture also helps reduce both installation complexity and long-term maintenance expenses.
Touchscreen operation
The SAILOR 6110 mini-C GMDSS is operated through the SAILOR 6006 Message Terminal, the world’s first Wheelmarked GMDSS terminal featuring a touchscreen interface.
Its modern, multimedia-inspired user interface has been designed for simplicity and ease of use, enabling operators to manage the vessel’s IMO-mandated safety and tracking systems efficiently and with confidence. The intuitive design reduces operator workload and contributes to the safe and reliable operation of essential onboard communication and monitoring functions.
Reliable and accurate
The SAILOR 6110 mini-C GMDSS features a newly developed transceiver design and operates with a 50-channel GPS receiver combined with a high-gain omnidirectional antenna, providing enhanced positioning performance and reliable satellite reception.
This advanced configuration ensures accurate position data and dependable satellite acquisition even in challenging operating conditions. The unit is designed to prevent condensation-related issues, while its rugged construction guarantees reliable, precise, and continuous operation in demanding maritime environments.
Efficient communication
As a member of the SAILOR 6000 GMDSS Series, the SAILOR 6110 mini-C GMDSS incorporates ThraneLINK, an advanced networking platform designed to provide seamless communication and efficient integration between onboard systems.
Through a single access point, service engineers can monitor and manage the vessel’s communication network, helping to reduce maintenance requirements and lower overall lifecycle costs.
